Goodbye November... Hello December...

Well, today is the last day of November... which seems so unrealistic!!

I read this morning on our local news site (chatnewstoday.ca) that November 2021 has been the 26th warmest November! Considering how many years the weather has been documented... This is crazy to be! Can't say I'm complaining about the warmth... but the wind has been brutal (I have been told that the increased wind Medicine Hat has been experiencing is because of the forest fires in Waterton (Therefore, we need to join together and start planting trees like crazy!!!!). DON'T FORGET TO AMEND THE SOIL WITH CASTINGS DURING PLANTING!!! Provides all nutrients and reduced replanting shock! I'm sure you already knew that though.

Anyways, enough with the weather-related small talk. November has been another month of busy but unlike May-October we have gotten some moments to breathe (which means catch up on paperwork, hustle around the Quonset, harvest worm beds, etc...).

We also got the pleasure to participate in Medicine Hat's Something For Everyone Market on November 20 & 21, which was AWESOME! It is soooooooo great to join in our community events, meet the awesome people in our city, and see how supported our local businesses are! If you didn't get a chance to attend the previous markets there are still some upcoming that you can go to. And if you missed us, but have plant lovers in your life... we deliver to Medicine Hat & Redcliff for Free!!! Trust me, it is never a waste of time. There are so many talented people and so many awesomely unique items at these events! I usually go to these markets with the intent of finding gifts for the people on my lists, and come out with a stack of things for them but most importantly for me!

Reminders:

CHRISTMAS IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!

CHECK OUT YHX FOR AWESOME GIFTS (or things for yourself) FROM LOCAL VENDORS

*ELF ON THE SHELF COMES OUT TONIGHT! (are your kids on the Naughty or Nice List?)

Bring on December.... Let the warm weather continue!!! whoop whoop!
